What is BNI?
Business Networking International, commonly known as BNI, is a business and professional referral organization whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals and develop word-of-mouth marketing techniques.
What is RRN?
The Reston Referral Network is a Reston-based BNI chapter, employing BNI’s principles to educate our members as to what is a qualified referral and how to find and give them.
When and where are RRN’s weekly meetings held?
Thursdays, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Parking is FREE in the ORANGE Parking Lot. Accessed from Bluemont Way. Pedestrian exit to the Democracy Street side lets you out directly across the street from PassionFish. You must start a parking session using the ParkRTC app, and the session will be validated at the meeting. Parking anywhere else is not validated. App is available for IOS and Android. There is also a kiosk at the garage.
What is required to visit?
Well, you, for one thing. At least 35 business cards. About 45 seconds’ worth of your memorized elevator speech, containing specific info as to what you offer and what you’re seeking in a referral, ending with a memory hook. And $23 for lunch — a modest investment in this all-important business luncheon.
Who can visit?
Anyone. Business owners and marketing managers and sales directors. Chamber members. Leadshare members. BNI members from other chapters. Job-seekers. Anyone who wants to grow their business via word-of-mouth networking.
Who can join?
Anyone who can visit, is not a member of another BNI chapter and whose industry is not represented in RRN.
What are the costs of joining BNI?
There is a non-refundable $199 application fee, and annual dues are $499.
What are the costs of not joining BNI?
